Using strong wool felt manufactured in Auckland, the project explores how natural fibres can bring warmth, texture, durability, fire retardancy, and dirt resistance to a category long dominated by synthetic, plastic-based materials.
This is not traditional workwear. It is a material exploration into the future of natural fibre design.

Created by internationally recognised New Zealand fashion designer Liz Mitchell MNZM, the project draws on decades of tailoring, textile knowledge and craftsmanship. Developed through Wool Revolution Studio, the work sits at the intersection of fashion, sustainability and material innovation - exploring how New Zealand's strong wool can be reimagined for future applications and modern industries.
